Pelori Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Pelori mobile app and related services ("Pelori"). By creating an account or using Pelori, you agree to them.
1. Eligibility
Pelori is for users aged 16 and over. You confirm that you are at least 16 when you sign up. You must use a real email address you control.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password and device secure. Tell us immediately at the contact address below if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: - impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation; - harass, threaten, or abuse other users in voice channels or via invitations; - upload routes or content you do not have the right to share; - attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or compromise Pelori's infrastructure; - use the service for any unlawful purpose.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.
4. User content
You retain ownership of the rides, routes, descriptions, and feedback you submit. By submitting them you grant Pelori a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, transmit, and display them as required to operate the service. We do not claim any further licence.
5. Voice, location, and ride data
- Voice transmissions are real-time only and not recorded by Pelori.
- Live location is shared only with members of the ride you have joined and only while you opt in. You can disable it at any time.
- Routes you import (GPX or via Strava) are visible to members of the rides you attach them to.
6. Third-party services
Pelori integrates with Strava (optional) and uses LiveKit, AWS, and Sentry behind the scenes. Their terms apply when you interact with those services. Strava connection can be revoked from the profile screen.
7. Service availability
Pelori is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available and to back up data, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that data will not be lost. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of Pelori is limited to the amount you have paid us in the previous twelve months (which is currently zero).
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and removes profile, rides you organise, memberships, Strava tokens, and avatar files. We may suspend or delete accounts that breach these terms.
9. Changes
We may change these terms. The "Last updated" date will reflect the revision; material changes will be surfaced in-app. Continued use of Pelori after a change means you accept the new terms.
