Pelori Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 May 2026

These terms govern your use of the Pelori mobile app and related services ("Pelori"). By creating an account or using Pelori, you agree to them.

1. Eligibility

Pelori is for users aged 16 and over. You confirm that you are at least 16 when you sign up. You must use a real email address you control.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password and device secure. Tell us immediately at the contact address below if you suspect unauthorised access.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Zero tolerance. Pelori has zero tolerance for objectionable content and for users who abuse other riders. Reports of objectionable chat messages and reports of abusive users are reviewed by the Pelori team within 24 hours; we will remove offending content, restrict senders, and terminate accounts at our sole discretion as we find appropriate.

Tools at your disposal. Every chat message can be flagged via the Report message action on a long-press; every chat sender can be blocked via the Block action on a long-press. Blocked users cannot see your messages or rides and you cannot see theirs. You can view and unblock people from Profile → Blocked users. To report a user outside of a chat thread, email us at the address below.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules without notice. Termination of a banned account is permanent — re-registering with a new email is also a breach of these terms.

4. User content

You retain ownership of the rides, routes, descriptions, and feedback you submit. By submitting them you grant Pelori a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, transmit, and display them as required to operate the service. We do not claim any further licence.

5. Voice, location, and ride data

6. Third-party services

Pelori integrates with Strava (optional) and uses LiveKit, AWS, and Sentry behind the scenes. Their terms apply when you interact with those services. Strava connection can be revoked from the profile screen.

7. Service availability

Pelori is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available and to back up data, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that data will not be lost. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of Pelori is limited to the amount you have paid us in the previous twelve months (which is currently zero).

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and removes profile, rides you organise, memberships, Strava tokens, and avatar files. We may suspend or delete accounts that breach these terms.

9. Changes

We may change these terms. The "Last updated" date will reflect the revision; material changes will be surfaced in-app. Continued use of Pelori after a change means you accept the new terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
